Another SAPD chase ends with a fatal crash

A man was killed and a woman was seriously injured Friday night after a home robbery on the South Side led to a police chase that ended in a crash, officers said.
It was the second time this week that a pursuit police called by the book ended in a fatality.
Chief William McManus said the incident began about 7:30 p.m. when an armed man attempted to burglarize a home in the 5100 block of Sagamore Drive.
